Terms and conditions

These terms apply when you book or rent a vehicle from 7 Sister Ridezz Car Rental, a unit of MON Roadlines ("we", "us"), Lokhra, Lalungaon, Near Puno, Guwahati, Assam 781040, through this website, WhatsApp, phone or in person. By sending a booking request or taking a vehicle you agree to them. The specific price, deposit and dates in your WhatsApp confirmation form part of your agreement.

1. Bookings

  • A request sent from this website opens a WhatsApp message to us. A booking is confirmed only when we reply on WhatsApp with the vehicle, dates and price, and any advance we ask for is paid.
  • Prices on the website are estimates. The final price is the one in our confirmation. Fuel, tolls, parking, state entry taxes and permits are not included unless we say so.
  • We may substitute a similar or better vehicle if the booked one becomes unavailable. If we cannot, we refund anything you paid for that booking.

2. Who can rent a self-drive vehicle

  • The renter and every driver must be at least 21 years old and hold a valid original Indian driving licence that is at least 1 year old (or a valid International Driving Permit with their home licence for foreign nationals).
  • You must show the original licence and a government photo ID (such as Aadhaar or passport) at handover. Outstation renters may be asked for local address or hotel booking proof.
  • Only drivers named at handover may drive the vehicle.

3. Rent, kilometres and fuel

  • Self-drive: rent is charged per 24 hours from the pickup time. Each day includes 300 km; extra kilometres are charged at ₹10 per km.
  • Fuel: return the vehicle with the same fuel level as at pickup. A shortfall is charged at the current fuel price plus a refuelling charge.
  • With driver: the local package is 8 hours / 80 km. Outstation trips are charged per km with a minimum of 250 km per day, plus a driver night halt of ₹300 per night. Driver food and stay on outstation trips are as stated in your quote.
  • Late return: Up to 1 hour late is free. After that, hourly charges apply. Returns more than a few hours late may be charged as an extra day.

4. No security deposit

  • We do not take a security deposit for self-drive or chauffeur rentals.
  • You remain responsible for amounts you owe under these terms (extra km, fuel, fines, damage, cleaning, late fees), payable when the vehicle is returned.

5. Your responsibilities

  • Drive lawfully and carefully, and follow all traffic rules, including those of other states you enter.
  • Do not use the vehicle for racing, towing, off-road driving beyond normal roads, carrying goods for hire, sub-letting, or any unlawful purpose.
  • No smoking, alcohol or drugs in the vehicle, and no driving under their influence.
  • Do not carry more people than the vehicle's seating capacity.
  • Lock the vehicle and keep the keys and documents safe. Report any accident, breakdown, theft or damage to us immediately on +91 92822 44116.
  • Traffic challans, parking fines, toll violations and penalties during your rental are your responsibility, including those that arrive after the rental ends.

6. Damage and accidents

  • The vehicle is inspected and photographed with you at pickup and return.
  • You are responsible for loss or damage during your rental, including tyres, glass, interiors and keys, up to the limits stated in your confirmation, and for loss of use while the vehicle is repaired. Where insurance applies, you pay the deductible and any amount the insurer does not cover.
  • Damage caused by negligence, rash driving, drink driving, an unlisted driver, or use in breach of these terms is fully your responsibility.
  • In an accident, inform the police where required and us at once, and do not admit liability on our behalf.

7. Outstation travel and permits

  • You may drive across the Northeast if you tell us your route when booking. Some places need permits (for example the Inner Line Permit for Arunachal Pradesh) and some states have rules for outside vehicles. You are responsible for holding the permits you need; we share the rules we know of.
  • We may refuse or end a rental for routes or conditions we consider unsafe for the vehicle.

8. Changes and cancellations

  • Date or vehicle changes depend on availability and may change the price.
  • The cancellation terms for your booking, including any refundable advance, are stated in your WhatsApp confirmation. If we cancel, you get a full refund of anything paid for that booking.

9. Breakdowns

If the vehicle breaks down through normal wear, we will repair or replace it as soon as we reasonably can, or refund the unused rent. We are not responsible for indirect costs such as missed flights, hotel bookings or tours.

10. Liability

We are not liable for loss of or damage to belongings left in the vehicle, or for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law.

11. Website content

Prices, photos, itineraries, distances, timings and travel information on this website are for guidance and may change. Some vehicle photos show the model, not the exact vehicle. Check permits, temple timings and park dates with official sources before you travel.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Guwahati, Assam have jurisdiction over any dispute.
